Why are you called Bedroom Studio?
“I founded this company when I was a teenager, making videos and editing them on a computer in my Bedroom. This was the original Bedroom Studio.
Now over a decade, and hundreds of weddings later - I have a lot better cameras, an amazing team and a glorious business name that doesn’t make much sense.
I see it as proof that I (like the engaged couples I work with) am not afraid of commitment.”

Our Style + Vibe
We have a relaxed and fun vibe on the day. Our wedding production co-ordinator will make sure that the schedule works and everything can just flow.
We have worked together on literally hundreds of weddings and there isn’t much we haven’t come across before which helps us keep cool heads as we meticulously capture the day.
Sharing the wealth - The fairest in the land
I have set up the business in a co-operative structure, so that everyone on the team is paid fairly based on how much work they do, and sharing our expenses means we can offer better value to our beloved couples as well.
We are fully transparent with all of our pricing and have fair fixed prices for all our services, and customisable packages so you only pay for what you need.
Sustainability - We’re not just sure, We are Carbon Positive!
For every wedding that we cover we plant two trees (one for you and one for your partner). This more than offsets our carbon emissions making us a carbon positive company, so the more weddings we are able to do the more we can help the environment. We currently are planting over 200 trees a year for our newlyweds!
What is carbon offsetting?
Since it is basically impossible to exist at the moment without creating a carbon footprint, one way to counteract this as a business is by planting new trees - which reduce carbon in the atmosphere and theoretically cancels out the carbon emissions that result from being in business (driving to weddings, running our computers etc.). We go one step further by reducing more carbon than we produce.
Where will you plant our trees?
We are currently supporting planting trees in Yarra Yarra. You and your partner will each have a native tree planted in your name that can grow next to each other forever. (note: trees may not grow forever, I am not a botanist.)
